The “Shoot-for-Life”, Saturday, August 6th,
is a sporting clays shoot that benefits the Alpha Family Center
of Cedar Springs. Your $50 entry fee includes a donation
of at least $20 to Alpha, 50 targets, 50 - 12 or 20 gauge shells,
and lunch. If you bring shells, Alpha will make much
more. We use a Lewis Class scoring system, so even if you don’t
shoot regularly, you have a chance to win a trophy. A squad starts
every 10 minutes, so please call to pre-register and for
squad times. Since we all support wildlife and gun groups that
help and protect animals and sports, we hope you will also
consider the vital human needs that Alpha provides. If you
can’t come, but wish to help support Alpha, go to:
http://www.alphafamilycentercs.org/. You may sponsor a
Shooting Station for $100. Volunteers and/or donations
of any size will be greatly appreciated!

We’ve had several groups of shooters use the Rifle Range.
The last group did some very good shooting out to 800 yards. It is
very basic, but we’re improving it as we go. When in use, we’ll

The winter of ‘13–‘14 killed our pond’s fish. We’ve re-stocked,
but it won’t be ready to fish ‘til 2017.
Leave the cleaning room as you find it! If it continues to get
trashed, we will close it!
